The story of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai is set in Udaipur,  a fictional family, action Drama that revolves around relationships, brotherhood, and sacrifices between Two elite families. The YRKKH drama serial is based on 3 seasons presenting the life story of three different generations, filled with ‘Love, Action, and Romance.

‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai’ Drama Serial Plot/Story:

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, also known as YRKKH is a Hindi-Indian romantic drama series that premiered firstly on Star Plus on 12th January 2009, also available on Desi Serial and has ranked as the most long-running Indian soap opera. This Indian Television has recently completed its 3895 episodes in 2022. The drama has released under the banner of Kut Productions and produced by Rajan Shahi. In the first Season of YRKKH, The show starred ‘Karan Mehra (Vishal Singh) and ‘Hina Khan’ who are famous Indian tv actors. Hina Khan has made her in the reality show Bigg boss too. In the second season of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai’, the series casts Khatron kai Khiladi’s most famous player ‘Shivangi Joshi’ and ‘Mohsin khan’ as the second generation. While the 3rd Season of the drama serial started in October 2021, casting ‘Harshad Chopda’ and ‘Pranali Rathod as the main lead. And they have also won the Musical game show ‘Ravivaar With Star Parivaar’ because of their brilliant performances. Also, Pranali Rathod has gained so much popularity because of her song in the show.   

‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai’ Season 1/Part 1 Story:

In the First Season, the story revolves around Hina khan who is playing the role as Akshara, and Karan Mehra who is playing the role as Naitik, both Akshara and Naitik belong to elite Marwari families. And has an arranged marriage which turns into true love. As at the start of the relationship, both partners needed time to understand each other, they had to face lots of ups and down but at the end, Akshara and Naitik had a strong bond. They had a son Nakshwho didn’t have a strong connection with his father because of misfortune. In a car accident, Naitik falls into Coma, and his mother Gayatri falls off a cliff and dies, Akshara is the only one there who has to support the family. She joins their business until Naitik recovers from his coma. After 4 years of life in Spain, Akshara gives birth to a beautiful daughter, named ‘Naira’. And on the other side, Naitik’s sister Rashmi who has been married to Akshara’s brother gives birth to a daughter and names her; Gayatri after her mother. Though, when everything seems to get better, the situation gets worse when Kaveri blames Akshara for Mahendra’s death. And they had to leave the house with their children, Naksh and Naira. 

Well, there comes the time of reunion…the reunion of families. After 10 years of separation, Naksh comes to his family in Udaipur and proves his mother Innocent. And tells Kaveri to forgive Akshara as she is innocent and they had a misunderstanding, which she needs to resolve. 

‘YRKKH’ Season 2 Plot/Story:

In the Second season of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai (YRKKH), Finally, families reunite again in Cape Town. Naksh meets with a girl, Tara, who is a hockey player, both fall in love but they never make their way out. On the other hand, Naira’s best friend ‘Sukanya’ dies in an accident. And out of fear, she runs away from her home and starts living in an orphanage. Where she grows up as an arrogant, Cunning, and strong girl. Who is not willing to accept her mother but unknowingly falls in love with Kartik. Before, they get married Akshara dies in a car accident.

In order to fulfill her mother’s dream, Naira opens a dance academy ‘Akshara Dance academy. Naksh marries Keerti. Kartik’s hate for his father still remains until Naira brings them closer together again. But both of the lovers separate and reunite. But this time, Kartik blames Naira for having her extramarital affair with her employee, and out of anger, Naira leaves the house without telling him that she is pregnant. And meets an accident but is alive. But for the family she is dead.    

Naira gives birth to her son Kairav in Goa. and after 5 years Kaira Reunites because of their son. Later gives birth to a daughter, Akshara but destiny repeats itself and like her mother Naira dies the same death. Both families get heartbroken. But Fate brings ‘Sirat’ who is a boxer, exactly looks alike Naira. Kartik deals with her to support her financially and in return, she will have to take care of his children. Later, both get married and Sirat gives birth to a daughter, named ‘Aarohi’.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai Season 3: Abhira’s Journey

The 3rd Season of YRKKH, starts with Two sisters’ journey, having different kinds of passions and attitudes. Arohi has become a doctor but is a stubborn, selfish, and manipulative woman, blaming Akshara for her mother Sirat’s death, which actually was only an accident. While Akshara is a soft, kind-hearted girl, who only cares about her relations, family, and friends. She loves singing. From the start, Akshara has always given up on her needs, and desires and shared her dearest things with her loved ones for their happiness. Harshad Chopda who is playing the role of Dr. Abhimanyu Birla, a great surgeon falls in love with Akshara. Again, the agony and evil intentions of Arohi start because she loved Abhimanyu. Upon knowing about the Truth, Akshara sacrifices her love for Aarohi and requests him to be her sister. To which he agrees. But starts hating Akshara for this decision.

Well, the story takes a lot of Turns and shifts, Abhimanyu doesn’t marry Aarohi and later both Abhira gets reunited. They get married and promise not to separate ever again. 

This Romo-Drama doesn’t end up creating suspense in the show and never misses a chance to let the lovers get away from each other. Akshara falls in a serious situation where she has to save her brother from Anisha who is cheating on him. and on being caught she attempts suicide,  Akshara and Kairav are blamed for that. On the other side, Abhimanyu gets injured and Dr.Kunal makes a deal with Akshara to work a year for his sister ‘Maya’ and she can’t tell anyone about their deal, and in return, he will do her husband’s surgery.
