Shagun Sharma is playing the role of Mohini Vijayan decent, beautiful girl from Kerala. she belongs to Kerala and is an educated woman. Mohini has three siblings Savitri, Velli, and Malli along with her parents, Vijayan . she supports her family by pursuing her profession as Nurse. she is a committed, kind-hearted, and goal-oriented woman.  Though she belongs to the middle class and her father can not afford to give property or Dowery to his daughters as financial security at their weddings. As Vijayan has lost his job and Mohini is their only support. she promises her father to find her a suitor who will not demand for any dowry. 

Zebby Singh is playing the main male lead role of Harphoul Choudhary, an uneducated man.  Harphoul lives with his mother in Haryana, a disabled brother, and a sister-in-law. he is a strong, adventurous man but he follows the orders to his mother all the time, whether they are right or wrong. But as he is a kind-hearted man, his uncle supports him a lot in a of his life matters whether it’s financial or moral support. Harphoul’s father was a farmer and land owner but after the death of his father, as he was not legally adult all of his property was taken into the Panchyat custody in order to gain his father’s property back. they ask him to get married in a month or he will lose all of his wealth. 

Saroj is Harphoul’s aunt living in Kerala plans Mohini and his Son Harphoul’s wedding. Despite a lot of difficulties. they both get married. Even his uncle, Balwant was against this wedding too but fate has brought them closer to one another.
