Sasural Simar Ka is a Hindi language romantic drama serial, that premiered on Colors tv, on 26 August 2021. The plot of the story is set in Agra City, India, and follows the life journey of  Reema Narayan and Simar who are twin sisters but have totally different personality traits. Simar is a very loving, caring, and devoted girl who for the happiness of her family can sacrifice her own happiness. On the other hand, Reema only thinks about her own happiness. Simar is a great singer and loves dancing too. But she wants to pursue her singing passion while Reema wants to become a famous model. They both marry to Aarav Oswal and Vivaan Oswal who are cousins and brothers, their grandmother decides on their marriage with Reema and simar also likes Aarav for his loving and innocent nature. But destiny had other plans, at the day of their wedding Reema does not come to her own wedding event for attending her modeling event. And they request Simar to marry Aarav to save her family’s reputation but Oswals rejects to accept her as their daughter-in-law.

Meanwhile, Vivan falls in love with Reema but his family fixes his marriage with Kajal the same as in the previous act he too leaves the mandap and goes to the temple, and gets married to Reema. Everyone gets shocked to see Reema in their house and hates her. Meanwhile, Simar meets with Geetanjali and idealizes her for her great voice. Aarav at the start of their wedding does not like Simar but as the time passed he became closer to her. And falls in love with Simar. On the other hand, Reema realizes that she is in love with Vivaan.

Further SSK ससुराल सिमर का 2, after a lot of incidents, such as Aarav’s sister marrying brokes with Mohit and along with them, their relationship gets weakened too. They both take divorce. Simar pursues her profession and there she meets Samar who is the adopted son of Yamini Devi. Reema plans her divorced sister’s wedding with Samar for her own means. Reema manipulates her against Aarav so she will agree on marrying Samar. Upon hearing the news Aarav gets heartbroken that Simar has moved on. And as he could not control his feelings he meets with Simar and expresses his love for her and asks her to come with him. But Simar rejects him for the things that he has done and misses the guidance that Reema has put in her mind.

Reema and Geetanjali plan to get Aarav arrested so he won’t interrupt in Simar and Samar’s wedding but he broke out of the jail and reaches in the Mandap (wedding) event. Where he apologizes to Simar and requests her to not leave him because he loves her a lot and can not live without her. Simar also falls for him and in the same time, they both get married again.    After their marriage, Aarav takes simar to his home where everyone disagrees on accepting them and throws them out of the house.

This might be Fate’s decision but Reema does not stop from creating a mess in their lives, Sandhya also hates Simar. But as time passes their family accepts them. And both Aarav and Simar join their family back.

Aarav’s sister ‘Aditi gets married to Gagan and Dhami who was Aarav’s ex-girlfriend makes her entry in the show with the aim to get her lover back from simar. Dhami succeeds in marrying Aarav by betraying him and along with her Yamini’s real identity also gets revealed in front of the family. Yamini is Gopichand’s second wife and she is the one who manipulated Simar too.

Well, Yamini becomes the owner of Oswal’s house and kicks out all the family members and they start living in Oberoi’s home where they meet Ranveer. Dhami plans to take her revenge and she attacks on Simar, Vivaan, Aarav, and Reema. She tries to kill Aarav by telling him that if he can not be hers, she will not let him to be anyone else partner too. She tries to kill him but he is saved by his wife Simar. Dhami falls off the cliff and dies. And after that everyone starts living a happy life. Well, apart from the typical story, the concept of the supernatural creature is also presented in the show. And simar is shown to be fighting against all those supernatural creatures for her family’s protection.
